We are born once we will die once lets do some good in between
A brief Introduction about me and my foundation SHADE I was born disabled in the year 1959 in Bangalore. I was eldest in the family amongst six children. my father knowing that I was born disabled ignored me and hated me. But my mother and grandparents took care of me. I was neglected and unwanted child. my future was bleak and dark before me. I left Bangalore, when I was thirteen years old and went to Chennai [Madras in Vyasarpadi] there the all merciful God made me to meet a priest Fr. Schlooz from Netherland. He took care of me and he was very kind to me and made me undergo six surgeries on my legs which enabled me to walk.
I had no words to thank father and I was overjoyed to be with him but father said thank God and do to others whatever I have done for you. Take care and serve the differently abled and all the less fortunate brothers and sisters. Then when I came back to Bangalore, the words of father...kept ringing in my heart. God’s grace and loving example of father Fr. Schlooz moved me to start an organization to serve the poor, neglected and the differently challenged.
In the year 1998 I founded SHADE [Service to Handicapped and Afflicted through Development Education] As I know the pain and anguish of these God's own children I started with 27 students in the Chandrashekar school in dever Jeevanahalli and by the all-round support of well-wishers and philanthropists.
The number has grown to 750 children’s which includes the rural branch in Kolar, Bangarpet villages. One important aspect of the growth of our organization is that we do not get any foreign or government aids. We are able to carry on our humble work through kind hearted peoples help. l firmly be live that it is the duty of every human being to be a help to the needy.
